Other than composition, framing is a excellent way of drawing the viewers eye to the focal point. Unique shapes or borders, that can include color contrast, are often used as framing for images. Framing is important to understand when you don’t know how to draw attention to a certain thing in a photograph and need a way other than using rule of thirds or leading lines to do so.
